石計生教授南京大學社會系開課：城市文化研究(2010.07.04-20) 2010年南京大學社會系研究所暑期課程 城市文化研究 ◎ 石計生教授(臺灣東吳大學社會系) 課程大綱 本課程將從城市空間，城市流行音樂與城市中的身體三大面向進行城市文化研究探究。(1)第一週(7月5、6、7、8日) 的「城市空間」部分：講者將從大趨勢論述西方城市空間現代與後現代，如列斐伏爾(H. Lefebvre)、福柯(M. Foucault)、哈威(D. Harvey)、蘇賈(E. Soja)和紀登斯(A. Giddens)等理論之適切性。並將舉講者過去進行臺灣宜蘭與臺北士林等研究為例，以定量、定性和社會地理訊息系統(SocGIS)多重方法的在地實踐，反思社會學研究回到現實場域與原生理論創造的重要性。(2) 而第二週(7月12、13、14、15日)的「城市流行音樂」部分，承襲第一周的反思，將以聽歌講課方式，研究從田野返回理論的可能。講者從現象學「懸置」(bracketing)方法著手，以過去多年對於1960年代臺灣歌謠與80年代校園民歌迄今的研究為例，1950-80年代日本演歌、臺灣歌謠、黃梅調，西洋流行歌、校園民歌與群星會國語流行歌等的黑膠曲盤與翻錄(如美空雲雀、紀露霞、洪一峰、文夏、靜婷，藝霞，劉文正、李雙澤、胡德夫)，與現代大陸流行的城市民謠歌(周雲蓬、李志、萬曉利、張淺潛、老狼，洪啟和左小詛咒等)，以大雜燴視角從歌曲的傳唱，翻唱跨越城市界線流傳，從歷史向度探討亞太地區幾個城市，如臺北、上海、南京、北京和京都等的不同城市文化精神性關連與分離，歌裡乾坤，感受音樂，從中提煉理論高度。(3) 第三週(19、20日) 「城市中的身體」將以比較觀點，探討傳承千年的「道家身體」在當代資本主義城市空間中如何可能？將以講者的幾篇重要期刊文章與演講為本，〈保守求生：論道家身體轉向及其比較文化實踐〉、〈「超現實」救贖之道：從本雅明寓言詩學到道家內丹學〉與「道家圖說的宗教與身體藝術意涵：從榮格(C.G. Jung)論呂洞賓《太乙金華宗旨》談起」等，所涉及的城市文化中的身體的精神性，本我與自我，與足下經驗的行走等辯證作為本課程的結論。
課程要求
除了閱讀指定書籍與文章外，聽講同學(可單獨或分組)需於第一與第二周的主題「城市空間」與「城市流行音樂」繳交關于南京市的相關範疇短報告(3-5頁)，本課程亦會安排師生一起進行實地城市文化踏查。
